Caribbean Tourism Recovery Fund
In the wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, many are left not only without a home—but without work too.
Tourism employs 2.4 million people in the Caribbean. Without this powerful economic engine at full capacity, tourism and hospitality professionals will be unemployed or working reduced hours.
The Caribbean Tourism Recovery Fund is focused on restoring and improving tourism resources and infrastructure to maximize destination appeal and get people back to work.
Let’s Give Better Together to the people and the communities that are the heart of our business.

On the tail of Hurricane Irma, one of the strongest hurricanes ever measured, Hurricane Maria inflicted further historic and catastrophic damage across the Caribbean.
The Caribbean Tourism Recovery Fund is the travel industry’s response, enlisting tourism industry stakeholders and global allies to pool resources in support of the vulnerable and devastated areas of the Caribbean, acting as One Caribbean Family.
The fund focuses on islands directly affected by the Hurricanes, complementing relief and empowering the tourism sector to combine and leverage resources to help the region bounce back better than before. Economic recovery depends on restoring the industry for a region that hosts millions of visitors and whose economy is heavily dependent on travel and tourism. Our efforts bring the tourism industry together to leverage our collective resources, expertise, influence and compassion.
Let’s make a difference to the lives of the valiant and resilient people of the Caribbean!
